WELCOME

Welcome to the official web site of Astley V.I.P Amateur Boxing Club, which opened in May 2009 and is located in the town of Astley, Wigan. The Club was set-up by ABA Coach Damian Jones and is affiliated to the North West Region of the Amateur Boxing Association of England Ltd.

Two local companies have played a major part in helping to establish the Club and we have named our Club in recognition of the input they have provided...

V.I.P Boxing Equipment, which is owned by Salford's former European Light-Middleweight Champion Jamie Moore and his manager Steve Wood, provide the equipment for the Club.

Valves Instruments Plus Ltd provide the Club's premises.
